Basic Education Department

Iligan Capitol College was founded in 1964 wherein its Basic Education programs and curriculum were recognized in 1967. As it exists, ICC which for many years now has offered complete Pre-school,  Grade School and High School Education. At present, each grade and year level has only one section having an average enrolment of 30 pupils/students per class. It is headed by a Principal with 17 teachers and 10 non-teaching personnel who are at the same time serving the college----all of whom are competently and faithfully carrying out the mission in attaining the vision set forth by the school.

With the implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum, the department seeks to motivate students to think critically as a means of  encouraging a life-long learning process through experiences and to provide a relevant academic, co-curricular and extra -curricular programs in all learning areas for the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students to become globally competitive individuals.
